Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef (or turkey)
  2. 8 ozpackage of Mexican style shredded cheese
  3. 24 ozjar of mild/medium/hot salsa (can also use pico de gallo)
  4. 16 ozcontainer of sour cream
  5. 4 1/2 ozpackage of Chef's Cupboard Tortilla Soup Mix
  6. 1 bagof tortilla chips/strips (your favorite)
  7. 6 cupof instant white rice (already boiled per box)

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Make Instant White Rice per instructions on box

  2. 2

    Brown ground beef/turkey in skillet

  3. 3

    Cook Tortilla soup per instructions on package

  4. 4

    Serve as follows per serving: Put white rice & ground beef in bowl.

  5. 5

    Pour at least 1 laddle of Tortilla soup over rice & beef combo.

  6. 6

    Put couple large tablespoons of salsa/pico de gallo in the bowl.

  7. 7

    Put a dolup of sour cream on top of salsa

  8. 8

    Cover with shredded cheese & tortilla chips. Then serve.

  9. 9

    (Optional) Add choice of hot sauce, I prefer Cholula.
