My grandmother used to make this. It truly tastes like a million dollars! Very quick and easy desert.

While looking at recipe's for million dollar pie's I found things that wanted to be different. So I tweaked things to my taste...and I personally like the change!

Easy to make when craving a chocolate pie!

This desert is called 'impossible' cos, while a runny mixture is poured into the cake pan, it is a 3-layered-pie that emerges from the oven. The bottom layer is pastry - like cos the flour and butter sink in the bottom; centre layer is like custard filling; top is slightly browned and crusty because the coconut floats to the top during baking.
