Or Semolina Dessert—an amazing treat! I tried it for the first time this morning with tea after getting the recipe from a friend, and it turned out fantastic—soft and very delicious. I hope you enjoy it if you try it. Thank you! 😊😋

Steps
- 1
Combine the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the oil and just enough water to bring the dough together, then knead well by hand.
- 2
Roll out the dough on your work surface and cut it into triangles. Shape each triangle into a croissant shape.
- 3
Note: You don't need to flour or oil the work surface—the dough is stretchy and non-sticky.
- 4
Heat oil in a pan and fry the croissants, placing them seam side down so they don't open up. Once golden on the bottom, flip to cook the other side. Remove from the oil when golden brown.
- 5
Place the fried croissants on paper towels, then pour warm syrup over them while both are still warm so they absorb the syrup well. Serve with tea.
- 6
Decorate as desired—you can sprinkle with shredded coconut or leave them plain.
- 7
Note: They brown quickly, so watch them closely while frying.
