Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2red onions ; sliced thinly
  2. 2tomatoes ; sliced thinly
  3. 2 tbspcoriander ; chopped
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. 1 tbspolive oil
  6. 3 tbsplime juice

Steps

    Cut the onions and tomatoes thinly. You need very fine slices.

  2. 2

    Chop up the coriander finely too.

  3. 3

    Take the onion separately into a bowl.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with salt and let it rest for 10 mins.

  5. 5

    Cover the onions with lukewarm water and let it rest for another 10 mins.

  6. 6

    Rinse and drain.

  7. 7

    Add the lemon juice and another pinch of salt and let it rest until the onions start to turn pinkish or leave for approximately about 30 mins before serving.

  8. 8

    Mix the onions with the sliced tomatoes and add the oil and coriander.

  9. 9

    Serve and enjoy !
