Ingredients

  1. 3eggs
  2. 1 Cupsugar
  3. 3 cupsflours
  4. 3 tspbaking powder
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 3 tspanise
  7. 1 CupCrisco (melted and cooled)

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat sugar and eggs until foamy

  2. 2

    Add anise flavoring and then mix in dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Add shortening and mix well. Chill one hour.

  4. 4

    Bake 325 degrees for 12-15 min.
