Steps

Heat the cooking oil in the cooking pan or pot

Marinate chicken for 30mins or more with spices of your choice.

Pan fry the chicken and set aside.

Saute onions and garlic on same pan for 1 min.

Add tomato paste, seasoning and water.. Allow to boil.

Add your chicken and allow to done, you can topup water at the point if need be or when it gets too thick to avoid burning.

Add the potatoes and carrots and allow to simmer for 10mins.

Add the chopped bell peppers,ground pepper and sugar, allow to simmer for 2-3mins.

Remove the bay leave and serve with turmeric rice.
