preheat oven to moderate heat

beat the egg whites till firm and stiff and form white peaks.

add the castor sugar and mix well

add the flour and mix well

fold in the almonds gently

line a loaf tin on bottom and around the sides of a loaf tin with greaseproof paper and pour the mixture in evenly

bake for about 30-45 mins till golden brown

remove from tin and leave it for 24 hours
- 9
next day cut loaf into very thin slices. place biscuit slices on a flat oven tray and (not greased) and bake slices for 15 mins till they go light golden colour. let slices cool before eating.
