preheat oven to 325

melt butter over medium heat

add celery and onion, cook 15 minutes until tender

stir in thyme, salt, pepper, sage, chicken broth & 1/2 cup water, remove from heat

place bread cubes in large bowl, add celery mixture and parsley, toss to mix well

place in 13 x 9 glass dish, cover with foil, bake 40 minutes
