Ingredients

  • 1 cupshortening
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cuppeanut butter
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 2 1/2 cupflour
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1 tspsoda
  • 2eggs, well beaten

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven to 375

  2. 2

    cream shortening and the sugars

  3. 3

    mix in peanut butter

  4. 4

    beat well

  5. 5

    add eggs and vanilla

  6. 6

    sift together dry ingredients

  7. 7

    add to shortening mixture and stir well

  8. 8

    roll I to small balls

  9. 9

    place on cookie sheet

  10. 10

    flatten with fork tines for decoraton

  11. 11

    bake at 375 for 12 -15 minutes
