Ingredients

  1. 3Medium sized tomatoes roughly chopped
  2. 1Medium sized carrot roughly chopped
  3. 1Small beetroot roughly chopped
  4. 1 Tbspred chilli sauce - 1 Tbsp tomato sauce
  5. 1 Tbspginger garlic paste - 1 Tbsp vinegar
  6. 1 Tbspsugar - 1/2 Tsp black pepper powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 Tbspbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a pan on medium flame -  add 1/2 tbsp butter and let it melt

    - Once butter starts to melt add ginger garlic paste and give it a stir

  2. 2

    Add tomatoes, carrot, beetroot and mix well

    - Add salt and sugar as per taste and mix again

  3. 3

    Now add one glass water and cover the pan with lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes

  4. 4

    Tomato, carrot and beetroot are cooked, turn off the flame and let it cool

    - Once cooled remove it in a grinding jar

  5. 5

    Blend it well to form a thick paste or puree

    - The puree is now ready

  6. 6

    Strain the puree to remove impurities if any

    - Once done - lets begin to prepare the soup

  7. 7

    Now heat the pan again on medium flame - add 1/2 tbsp butter

    - When butter starts to melt add the puree and mix well with the butter

  8. 8

    Add chilli sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper powder, vinegar and mix well till the puree comes to a boil

  9. 9

    Give it a mix, turn off the flame and remove it in a bowl

    - Healthy tomato soup is ready, you can add fresh cream and serve hot
