Steps

Poach fish until flaking and set aside to cool. Alternatively this is a great way to use up left overs.

Peel and boil potatoes until soft. Drain.

Add fish to potatoes while potatoes are still hot. Add egg, dill, shallots and chilli. Mash until well combined. Season to taste and set aside in fridge until chilled.

Form into patties and coat with flour, egg and finally breadcrumbs. For a thicker coating, repeat.

Fry at a medium heat until golden. Serve with salad or on there own as an appertiser.
