Ingredients

6 servings
  1. Halfa tuber of yam
  2. Dry ground pepper
  3. 1cooking spoon of ground crayfish
  4. 1red onion, diced finely
  5. 1cooking spoon of palm oil
  6. 1 headvegetable of choice
  7. Cooked beef or chicken; optional
  8. Salt and seasoning cubes to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and chop yam into cubes. Put into a pot half filled with water and add all the other ingredients, stir and then bring to a boil. Read a chapter of your Book of the Month:-) When yams soften, stir often to thicken broth. If using beef or chicken, add it now. Check for seasoning and then add chopped and washed vegetables. Turn down heat for 2mins and then turn off heat completely.
