Preheat oven to 350°F

Combine: flour, salt, baking powder, spice

Separately cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla

Mix in the flour (mixture will be thick, almost like a cookie batter)

Fold in the apples

Pour into 12 cupcake liners and bake for about 20 mind or until toothpick comes out clean
