Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare cookie sheet.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt in a medium size bowl.

In a large mixing bowl beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then mix in the egg, cream and vanilla.

Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and combine thoroughly.

Lightly flour your countertop (or table). Turn dough out onto the floured surface. Using a rolling pin, roll dough to half inch thickness. Use cookie cutters of your choice to cut out cookies. Place cut out cookies on prepared cookie sheet. Continue to roll dough and cut out cookies until dough is gone.

bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until cookies are golden and cooked throughout.

Let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to wire cooling rack.

When cookies are cool, frost and decorate, then enjoy!
