If the sausages are fresh, cook evenly on all sides until done through, usually 5 min on 4 sides on med. Wrap in foil to rest.

Brown squash in olive oil in skillet on med-hi heat for 5 minutes or so, just until golden brown all over.

Add chicken broth to squash until it covers the squash halfway. Simmer, covered, on med-Lo until tender, 10-15 minutes.

Cut the sausage into bite sized pieces on the bias.

Once the squash is tender, the chicken broth should be mostly gone. (If its not, drain some out.) Add sausage. Serve.
