Ingredients

  • 2inch cinnamon
  • 5cloves
  • 4black cardamoms
  • 2bay leaves
  • 1 tbspginger paste
  • 1 tbspgarlic paste
  • 1 kgonion
  • 1 kgmutton
  • 2 tbspkashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspfennel powder
  • 1/2 tspginger powder
  • 1/2 cupyoghurt

Steps

  1. 1

    fry cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaves and onions

  2. 2

    add ginger and garlic paste

  3. 3

    add lamb and fry for a bit

  4. 4

    add water, stock and salt

  5. 5

    simmer for 20 mins

  6. 6

    add chilli mixed with water

  7. 7

    add fennel and ginger powder and whisked yoghurt

  8. 8

    cook for 10 mins.
