Greek Beef Stew with Homemade Noodles (Moscharaki Kokkinisto me Xylopittes)

Since the seasons have disappeared, we don’t see fall, winter, summer or spring. In one day you can actually see all the seasons for example this morning it was raining and then we had a hale storm and now it sunny and quite nice 🙂 no snow yet but I did see in the weather forecast something about a snowstorm coming our way Thursday or Friday.
I started this post a couple of months ago, well I had just written the title and never got back to it but today was going to be the day that I made this delicious stew along with the homemade noodles. If you really like to make your own noodles I will post the recipe at a later date for anyone that would like to try it. Comfort food for the heart and soul a delicious dish with potatoes, carrots, and a bit of white wine. 🙂

Beef Stew Beef Stew
It’s funny... I made some chili last week. As I was thinking in my head, “What the hell goes in chili”? I started saying, “Wait, no. This is sounding like a beef stew”. So... I decided to make a beef stew now. It’s cold now and these dishes warm the soul. I never appreciated beef stew when I was younger. But I realize how fine of a dish it is in my older age haha. Karl

Beef Stew Beef Stew
I adjusted a recipe I had for a while to create my own taste. The key is to cook the chicken after coating it in salt, pepper, and flour. When adding it back into the pot from the plate, add it together with the meat's juices. It's good even without white vinegar. Recipe by LittleBird cookpad.japan

Easy Beef Stew Easy Beef Stew
This is a recipe for cold winter days for my married older brother and his wife who are busy with work and child rearing. This warm stew is nutritious, prevents colds, and has plenty of carrots. If you really sear the meat well at first before adding the wine, it ends up delicious. I usually add mushrooms and potatoes when I make it, but when I make it to freeze I leave out the potatoes. When adding potatoes, add them in during Step 5 as you add the can of demi-glace sauce. For 4 servings. Recipe by Mawaru7 cookpad.japan
