Steps
- 1
In a clean bowl measure your flour, add salt n mix with cold water using your hands.
- 2
Knead well to make a soft dough. Add abit of cooking oil to soften it more.
- 3
Once ok remove it from the bowl n put it on a floured surface.
- 4
Roll it abit then spread your pastry margarine on top then fold it.
- 5
Cover it with a clean cotton cloth for 10 mins.
- 6
Roll it again then fold and let it rest again for 10 mins. You can repeat this 3-4 times to better your puff/dough and also to add layers on your pie.
- 7
Once done that, cut it into 2 pieces n roll round. It should not be so thin nor so thick.
- 8
Put your preffered stuff i.e meat..beef, chicken or cheese or even vegatables or fruits like we have pineapple pie. I personnaly did beef pie. Put it (beef) on top of your rolled puff then fold it twice to make a semi circle.
- 9
You can eggs wash it or opt not too. Mine i didnt.
- 10
Put them in the oven and bake for 15-25 mins at the temparature of 180 o C.
- 11
Once baked, remove it n cool it ready for service. Enjoy.

NOTE...The same puff/dough can be used to do sausage rolls as they are in the photo...
