Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1 bowlcooked brown basmati/ regular rice
  • 1 cuptofu or paneer cubes
  • 1carrot
  • 2baby corns
  • 1/2 cupcauliflower
  • 1capsicum diced into squares
  • 1/4 table spoonfinely chopped ginger
  • 6-7 clovesroughly chopped garlic
  • 1 tea spoonGreen chilli sauce
  • 1/4 tea spoonred chilli paste or thecha
  • 1/4 tea spoondried Italian herbs or Oregano
  • as neededPaprika to sprinkle for smokiness (optional)
  • as per tasteSalt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a deep frying pan add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil or regular cooking oil. Once the oil is hot add the ginger and garlic and fry till garlic is slightly brown and burnt.

    Add the chopped capsicum and fry till the skin starts to wrinkle. Add the tofu and boiled veggies and saute till they are glazed and slightly brown.

  3. 3

    Add salt, pepper, paprika, herbs, green chilli sauce and red chilli paste and saute for 3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the cooked rice and saute on high flame for 2 minutes to get it smokey. EAT IT WHILE IT'S HOT!
