In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar, eggs, vanilla and almond extract; beat until light and fluffy.

In another bowl, combine the flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt, gradually stir into the butter mixture until well blended.

Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill for two hours.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper

Roll out dough into about 1/4 of an inch

Cut into desired shaped using cookie cutters

Place cookies 2 inches apart on cookie sheets

Bake at 400°F for 4-6 minutes

For the Frosting: In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk, beat in corn syrup and almond extract until icing is smooth and glossy.

Divide in separate bowls and add desired coloring

Decorate cookies
