Ingredients

  1. 1 1/8 lbspinto beans (about 500 grams)
  2. 5tomatoes
  3. 1/2white onion
  4. 1/2green bell pepper
  5. 1 sprigcilantro
  6. 2 tablespoonschicken bouillon powder (such as Knorr)
  7. Enough water
  8. 4hot dogs
  9. 2pork chops
  10. 4thick slices ham
  11. 5 stripsbacon
  12. Serve with pico de gallo

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse the beans and cook them in plenty of water.

  2. 2

    Blend the tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, cilantro, and chicken bouillon powder until smooth.

  3. 3

    Chop the hot dogs, bacon, ham, and pork chops. Place them in a skillet, add the blended mixture, and sauté together.

  4. 4

    Once the beans are tender (add more water if needed), add the sautéed ingredients to the pot. Let it come to a boil, then it's ready to serve.

  5. 5

    Serve with pico de gallo (diced tomato, onion, and serrano pepper) and lime.
