Ingredients

3 tbspolive oil
3 lbboneless chuck beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cupflour
2 cupcoarsely chopped onion
3 cupcoarsely chopped carrots
2 cupcoarsely chopped celery
4garlic cloves, minced
2 largetins of Guinness
5sprigs fresh thyme
3 tspWorcestershire sauce
3 tbsptomato paste
5 cupbeef stock
1salt and pepper

Steps

Dry the beef chunks with paper towel

Roll the beef in flour
3

Brown the beef in a hot pan with oil
4

Take the beef out and deglaze the pan with Guinness
5

Add all ingredients into a crock pot and cook for 2 hours

Serve with mashed potatoes or rustic and hearty bread
