chop onion tops off then chop in 1/8th inch sections up until stalks split. sautee in butter until tender, about 5 mins.

add other mushroom sauce ingredients. stir for 3 mins. add mushrooms.

sautee for 25 mins over mid-low heat (4 out of 10)

mix powdered ingredients, then cut off fat and pound flat pork steaks (to about 1/4 inch). dip in egg and milk mixture, then into bread crumb mix. fry on low-mid heat (4 out of 10) in veg oil about 5 mins each side. press to sear meat while frying.

As you fry schnitzel, place in oven on foil covered cookie sheet at 200°F to keep warm.

mix 3 tablespoons sosse zum braten with 1 cup water for each cup of gravy you want. I recommend 2 cups of gravy. place gravy and water mix in schnitzel frying pan after frying complete. heat sauce on high and mix for 3 minutes

serve schnitzel and place mushrooms and gravy over schnitzel to taste. Serve with potatoes and green beans to really enjoy the gravy over all.
