bake the yellow cake as directed on the box and cool completely

meanwhile make the instant pudding

wash and cut the strawberries to your preference, halfed, quartered etc.

when the cakes cooled completely in a large bowl fill the bottom with some cake. just grab the cake with your clean hand hopefully and press it to the bottom. then you start layering; cake, pudding, whip cream, strawberries until every layers evened out.
