Ingredients

  1. 4 lbBeef Chuck Roast
  2. 6 tbspFlour
  3. 6 tbspReal Butter (Divided)
  4. 3 cupHot Water
  5. 1Beef Bulion Cube
  6. 2 tbspWhishirshire Sauce
  7. 1/4 tspFreash Basil (Chopped)
  8. 1 packagesLipton Onion Dry Soup Mix
  9. 8 mediumPotatos (Washed and Quartered - Peeled optional)
  10. 1 dashSalt (to taste)
  11. 1/2 tspPepper (to taste)
  12. 1/2 cupCelery (Chopped into 1/2 inch pieces).
  13. 6Carrots (Chopped into 2 inch pieces).
  14. 1 mediumSweet Purple Onion (Peeled and Quartered).
  15. 1 cupHot Water

Steps

5 hours 30 mins
  1. 1

    Gather and Prepare All ingrediants.

  2. 2

    Place a pat of butter in skillet and place Roast Beef into skillet

  3. 3

    Sear Roast Beef on each side untill lightly browned, then turn off heat.

  4. 4

    Place all ingrediants, including the seared Roast Beef, but not the Potatos or one (1) cup of Water, into crock pot.

  5. 5

    Cook on low heat about two (2) hours, stiring occationaly.

  6. 6

    Turn heat up to medium-low and Add the Potatos and one (1) cup of Water.

  7. 7

    Cook about three (3) hours or untill Roast is tender and Potatos are soft when forked, but do not fall apart (stiring occationally).

  8. 8

    Eat and Enjoy!
