Steps

Sprinkle beef cubes with flour and brown with onions.

Put browned beef and onions in 5 quart sauce pan or dutch oven, add garlic,mushrooms, beer, Worcestershire and tomato sauce, beef consomme, salt and pepper.

Cook covered in a 325°F oven for 2 hours stirring occasionally.

Remove from oven and heat to boiling over burner, then thicken mixture with a flour/water mixture.

Add sour cream and pickles.
- 6
Serve over cooked egg noodles.
