Ingredients

  1. 4 cupCrispix cereal
  2. 2 cupCheerios cereal
  3. 1 1/2 cupLightly Salted Peanuts
  4. 1 1/2 cupPretzels, broken
  5. 1 1/2 cupMini M&M Plain candies
  6. 1 cupLight Corn Syrup
  7. 1 cupBrown Sugar, packed
  8. 1/2 cupMargarine
  9. 1 tspVanilla Extract

Cooking Instructions

    Combine cereals, peanuts and pretzels in a large bowl and set aside.

    Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and margarine in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil on medium heat; boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Stir vanilla extract into sugar mixture after boiling is complete.

    Immediately pour sugar mixture over cereal mixture, and stir well to coat.

    Stir Mini M&M's into mixture.

    Using a greased spatula, press mixture tightly into a greased 15X10" jellyroll pan (or cookie sheet) and cool at room temperature.

    Cut into bars when completely cooled.

I made these for my son's class along with the Apple smiles. A BIG hit! Mine came out gooeyer (I know it's not a word) and more chocolatey (because I put m& ms in before I poured sugar mixture...oops but the kids did not care at all. No pictures because I was running out of time.
