Stud two oranges with cloves.

Zest the other oranges and lemons.

Put everything in a large pan (I borrow one from my local pub) , breaking the cinnamon sticks and cut the zested fruit in half. Stir well.

Add a pint of water.

Warm gently for an hour. Don't let it boil!

Strain thoroughly and bottle up.
