Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgCooking apples
  • 1 kgPeeled bananas
  • 1 gramsonion
  • 700 gramsseeded raisins
  • 250 gramspreserved ginger
  • 700 gramsbrown sugar
  • 250 gramswhite sugar
  • 110 gramssalt
  • 1/2 litervinager

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the bananas, apples, onions and ginger up finely. Put in a preserving pan with the raisins, cayenne, sugars, salt and vinegar and boil for 2 and a half hours

  2. 2

    When cool, bottle and seal.
