Put in a large bowl, sprinkle with salt and toss

Set aside

In a large pot bring to boil vinegar, sugar, celery and red pepper flakes

Remove from the the heat and add 2 handfuls of ice and let it melt.

Stuff the jars with the vegetables, add vinegar mixture, will keep in the refrigerator for 2 months
