Ingredients

72 servings
  • 1 1/3 cupPacked light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cupVegetable oil
  • 1/4 cupReduced fat sour cream
  • 1 eachEgg
  • 1 tspVanilla
  • 1 3/4 cupAll purpose flour
  • 3/4 cupUnsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tspInstant espresso or coffee granules
  • 1 tspBaking soda
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1unit 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cupPowdered sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat brown sugar and oil in med bowl with electric mixer. Mix in sour cream eggs and vanilla. Set aside

  2. 2

    Mix flour cocoa espresso baking soda salt and pepper in another med bowl

  3. 3

    Add flour mixture to brown sugar mixture mix well. Refrigerate until firm 3-4 hours

  4. 4

    Preheat oven 350°F pour powdered sugar into shallow bowl. Roll dough into 1 in balls roll balls in powdered sugar.

  5. 5

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheets 10 to 12 min or until tops of cookies are firm to touch. Do not overbake. Cool on wire racks
