cheating quick strawberry cream sponge cake

preheat the oven to 200'C

grease and line two cake tins

add the egg and water to the sponge mixes. The idea of two mixes is so the bases are thicker

devide the mixture between each tin and bake one at a time at 15-20 mins each until golden and bouncy

once cooked leave the bases to cool

once cooled spread a layer of jam on one base

then add halved strawberries on top

put the double cream in a bowl and whisk until thick
- 9
add the cream on top of the strawberries then put the top base of the cake on
- 10
put a small bit of cresm on top with a few strawberries for garnish
