Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 1/2 lblean veal, ground twice
  • 1/2 tspwhite pepper
  • 1/2 tsppaprika
  • 1/2 tspthyme
  • 1/2 tsporegano
  • 1/2 tspbasil
  • 1 tbspchili powder
  • 2 tspWorcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cupground saltines
  • 1egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cupfine diced green bell peppers
  • 1/2 cupfinely diced onion
  • 1/2 cupfinely diced celery
  • 1 cupfinely diced carrots
  • 1/2 cupchili sauce
  • 1/4 cupbarbecue ssuce

Steps

  1. 1

    combine the veal, seasonings, egg, vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, saltines, and chili sauce

  2. 2

    spoon into an 11 inch (28cm) loaf pan

  3. 3

    spread the barbeque sauce on top

  4. 4

    bake for 1 1/4 hours in a preheated 350°F (180 C) oven

  5. 5

    remove from oven, cool to warm, unmold and chill. serve cold.

  6. 6

    ENJOY
