48fresh mussels
2 tbspbutter
2minced garlic cloved
1finely diced onion
1finely diced celery stalk
1 cupred wine
2 cupstewed tomatoes
1/2 tspbasil leaves
1/4 tspblack pepper

Steps

scrub and debeard the mussels

heat the butter in a saucepan
3

add the garlic, onion, and celery
4

saute until tender
5

add the remaining ingredients (not the mussels) and simmer for 15 minutes
6

add the mussels and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

serve
