Ingredients

45 mins
  • 6eggs at room temp
  • 185 gramscaster sugar
  • 185 gramspain flour sifted
  • 2 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 40 gramsmelted butter at room temp
  • 2 tspvanila essence

Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

    beat the eggs + sugar

  2. 2

    add vanila

  3. 3

    stop beating and gently mix the flour+ baking powder in the egg mix

  4. 4

    throw in the butter half way through

  5. 5

    pour the sponge mix in a cake tin layered with baking paper

  6. 6

    cook for 25 min at 185°F until springy

  7. 7

    set aside for 2 hours to cool totaly
