  1. 1 lbhog jowls chopped skin removed
  2. 2 tspsalt
  3. 2 tspgranulated garlic powder
  4. 1 tspground black pepper
  5. 1 1/2 lbcarrots peeled chopped
  6. 3stalks celery washed and chopped

    in a deep pan render the hog jowls add vegetables and spice cove cook till tender

    reserve bacon fat for another recipe
