My dad's recipe passed down.
Steps

Brown meat until slightly pink and Add seasonings.

Drain and rinse. Add to meat.

Add the 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn down heat to medium low so it will simmer.

Add remaining seasonings.

Add a little sugar OR cocoa powder. This is going to offset the Acid in the tomatoes bring a hint of sweetness. (I prefer the the cocoa powder)

Cook everything for about 2 hours. Cook with the lid on, cracked about an inch to allow the alcohol evaporate and chili to thicken. After an hour, I would taste the chili and add any additional seasonings.

I like to serve with shredded cheddar cheese, elbow macaroni and/or pita bread.
