Ingredients

  • 75 gramsdried figs, chopped
  • 50 gramsdried, pitted dates, chopped
  • 450 mlapple juice
  • 1large red apple, cored and sliced
  • 1large green apple, cored and sliced
  • 3bananas, sliced into thick chunks
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 3clementines in segments
  • 2 piecestem ginger in syrup, chopped
  • 1 tbspsyrup from the ginger jar

    Soak the figs and dates in the apple juice over night

    Bring to the boil and turn down to a simmer for 5 minutes

    Meanwhile, sprinkle the lemon juice over the banana and sliced apple

    Add to the pan with the rest of the ingredients and simmer a further 3 minutes
