Place onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime, salt, and six of the tomato quarters into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

Select Variable 5. Pulse 5 times. Pulse 2 to 3 times if starting with chopped onion.

Add the remaining tomato quarters through the lid plug opening. Pulse 10 to 12 times or until desired consistency is reached.

Serve with tortilla chips.
