Rub butter and spices on and under skin

Place whole peeled onion in neck cavity

Cook in preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours or until slightly brown, drumsticks pull away from breast, and juices run clear.

JUICIER OPTION: Cook in slow cooker on high for 6 hours
