
Strawberry Ice Cream (Kitchenaid Bowl)

Steps

1. Medium Saucepan over Medium Heat, Heat Half-Half until very Hot but NOT boiling, stirring often.
2. Remove from Heat set aside
3. Place Egg Yolks and Sugar in Mixing Bowl, Wire Whip
4. Turn to Speed 2 and mix about 30 sec.
5. Continuing on Speed 2 gradually Add Half-Half mix
6. Return Half-Half mixture to saucepan, cook over Medium Heat until Small Bubbles form around edge 7. Do NOT Boil
8. Transfer Half-Half mixture into Large Bowl.
9. Stir in Whipping Cream, Vanilla, and Salt
10. Cover and Chill thoroughly at least 8 hours.
11. Assemble and engage Freeze Bowl, Dasher and Drive.
12. Turn to STIR, Speed 1.
13. Pour Mixture into Freeze Bowl
14. Continue STIR Speed 1 for 15-20 min
15. Add Strawberries during Last 3 to 5 minutes
16. Transfer to dishes or storage container.
