Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

Combine the orange juice (or milk) and sugar in a large bowl. Stir well with a spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 2

Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. 3

You’ll get a very soft, smooth dough. Let it rest for 1 hour.

  4. 4

Roll out the dough on your work surface. You don’t need to flour the surface before rolling.

  5. 5

Cut the dough into your desired shapes. I used a regular round cutter. (Note: The dough is soft and the cookies will shrink a bit after cutting, giving them a nice oval shape.)

  6. 6

Grease a baking sheet with butter or line it with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.

  7. 7

Remove from the oven and let cool. Place on a serving plate. No need to cover them—they’ll stay crisp. Enjoy!
