Ingredients

  • 200 gramsdairy-free spread
  • 200 gramscaster sugar
  • 8 tbspaquafaba
  • 80 mlalmond milk
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 200 gramsall-purpose flour
  • 1 tspbaking powder

Steps

    Preheat oven to gas mark 7

  2. 2

    Beat spread and sugar together until pale and fluffy

  3. 3

    Gently stir in milk and vanilla

  4. 4

    Whisk aquafaba until it goes frothy

  5. 5

    Gently fold into mixture

  6. 6

    Sieve in flour and baking powder

  7. 7

    Gently fold in, taking care not to knock out any air

  8. 8

    Pour mixture into a greased baking tray

  9. 9

    Baking for 45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean
