Ingredients

  1. 1 eachbutternut squash
  2. 4stock green onion
  3. 1apple (experiment with different apple types to find your favorite)
  4. 1 eachwhite onion
  5. 1 lbbacon (Feel free to use turkey bacon if you prefer)

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Peel and cube the squash, and place on greased/ oiled cookie sheet.

  3. 3

    Put squash in the oven for 10 min or until just about cooked through. Flip the cubes over halfway through cooking time. Set aside

  4. 4

    Chop up and saute white onion until cooked, but not browning, and set aside.

  5. 5

    slice bacon into 1" squares and fry in frying pan until desired crispiness.

  6. 6

    drain bacon grease and add the white onion, the apple (cored and diced), butternut squash, and green onion (chopped).

  7. 7

    simmer on low/med heat with lid for 5 minutes. Serve & enjoy!
