Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 1/2 cupOreos, crushed
  • 1/3 cupButter, melted
  • 1/3 cupGranulated sugar
  • cheesecake
  • 16 ozCream cheese, softened
  • 14 ozSweetened condensed milk
  • 3 eachEggs
  • 2 tspVanilla
  • 1as needed Oreos, roughly chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oven to 350.

  2. 2

    Spray an 8 or 9 inch springform pan with nonstick.

  3. 3

    Mix together sugar and cookies. Add melted butter and mix until dough forms. Press into springform pan.

  4. 4

    Beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together.

  5. 5

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Fold in Oreos. Pour into crust.

  6. 6

    Fill a large pan with water and place on rack below springform. Periodically check the water level, keeping the water in the oven anytime the cheesecake is in the oven.

  7. 7

    Bake the cheesecake for 40-50 minutes, until center jiggles when moved.

  8. 8

    Run knife around the edge to loosen. Turn the oven off but leave the door open about 4 inches. Leave cheesecake and water in oven for 30 minutes.

  9. 9

    Take out of oven and cool at room temp for 30 minutes.

  10. 10

    Refrigerate cheesecake overnight. Ready to serve the next day.
