Cooking Instructions
- 1
Clean wings and place them in a zip lock bag with onion and citrus marinade.
- 2
Preheat electric smoker to 225 degrees.
- 3
Place aluminum pan in smoker with apple juice, on the bottom rack(smokers some times have a drip pan but this saves cleaning time!)
- 4
Once preheated, lay wings directly on smoker rack above apple juice. Add wood chips and smoke for 1.5 hours.
- 5
Mix in bowl, wing sauce, melted butter, honey, pepper, and salt until you have you desired taste.
- 6
Toss wings in sauce. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 35-40mins, flipping half way through. Remove and enjoy!
- 7
We used cashewyogurt and french onion dip seasoning as “ranch”. Enjoy!

Spicy dry jerk rubbed smoked chicken wings Spicy dry jerk rubbed smoked chicken wings
If you are going to attempt this recipe just keep in mind that there is no substitute for the jerk seasoning I use. The badia jerk seasoning has little to no salt. The rub is essential to provide a crust and you want a heavy rub on the wings so if you substitute there is a chance of them being overly salty and inedible. Chef Bryce -
