Brown the pork chops in a frying pan. Then place them in the bottom of the crock pot.

In the same frying pan that you had the chops in place the onions and cook on low to medium heat until translucent then add garlic and let cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Splash a bit of wine or beer in the hot pan and use that liquid to break apart and dissolve all that flavor packed brown goodness on the bottom of the pan.

Now dump the sauerkraut with the liquid in the pan and mix it up with everything in there until evenly mixed. Then take all of that and dump it in the crock pot on top of the chops.

Leave on low for 6-8 hours
