Ingredients

  1. Braised pork
  2. 3 lbpork ribs
  3. 4 cupwater
  4. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  5. 4beef bouillon cubes
  6. 3 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 4 clovegarlic cloves
  8. 1onion
  9. cheese sauce
  10. 15 ozricotta cheese
  11. 1 1/2 cupmozzarella cheese
  12. 3/4 cupparmesan cheese
  13. 2eggs
  14. dashsalt and pepper
  15. 1 tbspitalian seasoning
  16. Tomato sauce
  17. 16 ozcan of tomato paste
  18. 3 cupwater
  19. 1 tbspitalian seasoning
  20. 3beef bouillon cubes
  21. Topping
  22. 1/2 cupmozzarella cheese
  23. 1/2 cupparmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all braised meat ingredients in a pot and cover, boil on medium heat for 4-6 hours.

    Strain the meat and set braising liquid aside

  3. 3

    Shred the cooled meat

  4. 4

    Mix the cheese sauce ingredients and set aside

  5. 5

    Mix all tomato sauce ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil, the reduce to a simmer

  6. 6

    Add the meat to the tomato sauce and simmer for 15 mins

  7. 7

    As the sauce thickens add some braising liquid to add flavor and to thin it out.

  8. 8

    Ladle 1/2 cup of sauce onto the bottom of the pan.

  9. 9

    Lay one layer of pasta over the sauce.

  10. 10

    Smear a thin layer of cheese sauce on top of the pasta.

  11. 11

    Ladel a thin layer of tomato sauce over cheese sauce.

  12. 12

    Reapeat steps 9-11 until done. The final layer should be tomato sauce.

  13. 13

    Cover the top with 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/2cup parmesan cheese.

  14. 14

    Cover with foil and bake for 45-55 mins at 400°F or until bubbly.

  15. 15

    Remove foil and bake uncovered for anothrr 10-15 mins, or until the top reaches your desired color.
