Pour store bought kombocha into properly sanitized glass jar.
- 2
Add room temp tea and sugar to glass jar.
- 3
Fasten cheesecloth on top of jar and store in a dark place at room temperature.
- 4
Let culture grow; feed sugars as needed. Pictured is a 4week SCOBY on the left & its 8week mother-starter on the right.
