this was my Grandma's recipe from long ago.
Steps

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Boil macaroni in lightly salted water until done (al dente')
- 3
Drain and rinse with cool water in a large colander.

Spoon a 1" layer of macaroni in a 9x13 baking dish.

Spoon a layer of the stewed tomatoes and juice onto top of macaroni.

Sprinkle with ground clove. (medium application)
- 7
Apply one layer of cheese. (cut into 1/4 slices)

Repeat layering until you've used all ingredients.

Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.

This goes great with Thanksgiving Turkey or Christmas Ham.
